I went to Xinjiang for a few days before, visiting both northern and southern Xinjiang. Since I can’t drive, I always took the bus for transportation. Now let’s get straight to the point and talk about our trip. Route it!
ps: This picture was marked on the map by myself for reference. Please forgive me if it is not clear~
Northern Xinjiang Region
Urumqi-- -- Keketuohai: Starting from Urumqi, take the shuttle bus directly to Fuyun County. If you arrive in one night, get off and take a taxi directly to Keketuohai Scenic Area. The cost is 35 yuan per person. It is 10 yuan cheaper to go to Keketuohai Town. .
Coco Tuohai-----Beitun: It is enough to play in the scenic spot for a few hours. After that, you can take a taxi back to Fuyun County. The last bus from Fuyun County to Beitun is at 5 p.m. , if you feel pressed for time, ask the taxi driver to call the shuttle driver and ask him to wait for a while, they are all familiar with you!
Beitun-----Hemu: Stay one night in Beitun. If you are impatient, you can go directly to Burqin for accommodation, but it is not recommended. The accommodation fee in Burqin is much higher than that in Beitun. Stay one night in Beitun, take a taxi to Burqin early the next day, 40 per person, and then catch the 10 o'clock bus from Burqin to Hemu. Of course, the less wealthy way is to take a taxi directly from Beitun to Hemu. The two of us found a driver at that time, which cost 100 yuan per person. The driver took us two without picking up anyone else. The 200 yuan chartered car was quite cost-effective!
Hemu-----Kanas: It all depends on you how many days you want to spend in Hemu. The accommodation fee is quite expensive and the number of beds is about 100. The transportation from Hemu to Kanas is OK. You can choose horseback riding, hiking, shuttle bus, or half horseback riding and half hiking, and it will take about two days to arrive. Of course, you must be familiar with the route, and it depends on the weather, otherwise you will lose your life! There is a shuttle bus from Hemu Village directly to Jiadengyu. If you buy a round-trip ticket at the Hemu ticket office, you can use the return ticket to offset 50 yuan. After arriving at Jiadengyu, take the free bus to Kanas.
Kanas-----Burqin: You can have lunch before leaving. Of course, you can still take a taxi. The price is 40 to 50 per person. It will be around the afternoon when you arrive in Burqin. If you want to go at this time, The time for Colorful Beach is just right and the distance is very close. You can take a taxi there just in time for the most beautiful time of Colorful Beach. When you come back, you can stay in Burqin for one night and try the local specialty pike. One fish is just enough for two people. If you don’t want to stay in Burqin You can go back to Beitun to live again.
Burqin-----Yining: You can take a taxi back to Beitun, and then take the train from Beitun to Yining. When you arrive in Yining, you can choose to carpool to visit Sailimu Lake and Horgos Port. , Lavender Manor, Huiyuan Ancient City, etc., you can try the local special lamb chop slices, the taste is very good!
Yining-----Duku Highway: We chose to take the train back to Beitun. Although we returned the same way, there was nothing we could do. If we wanted to take the complete Duku Highway, we had to go back to Beitun first. Then take the train to Kuitun and then take a taxi to Dushanzi, which is very close. Duku Highway is the section of road between Dushanzi and Kuqa. Ask the driver to take you directly to the checkpoint at the entrance of Duku Highway. Many cars passing there take Duku Highway. You can choose to take a ride, stop it yourself or let the police stop it for you. It is very efficient! The end of the Duku Highway is Kuqa, where there is the Kuqa Grand Canyon, which is worth a visit!
Southern Xinjiang Region:
Kuqa-----Kashgar: You can take a train there, but we were lucky. The driver happened to go to Kashgar via the Duku Highway. , so it saves a lot of trouble.
Kashgar: This place is worth lingering on for a few days. You can take a car ride to Taxkorgan for a walk, or go as far as Khunjerab. When you come back, you can visit the old city of Kashgar, the Cattle and Sheep Bazaar, and Gaotai residential buildings. Try the local delicacies, which are very ethnic!
Kashgar-----Hotian: Let’s take the train. There’s nothing to say. There are actually quite a lot of Han people in Hotan City. It’s a bit of a rush to the cities in northern Xinjiang. You can go to Hotan Night Market, which is huge and The snacks are super complete and feel great! Hotan Night Market feels like the most exciting night market I have ever visited in Xinjiang!
Hotian-----Desert Highway: We chose the desert road from Minfeng to Luntai. You can take a shuttle bus from Hotan to Minfeng and stay there at night. You can ask about it at the hotel. There is no way to take the desert road the next day, if you can, just make an appointment! If not, you can only use the old method. Take a taxi to the entrance of the desert highway the next day and stop it. As long as you are patient, you will definitely be able to stop it. Although the desert road is too monotonous, it will also pass by the Tarim River and Populus euphratica forest. It is no problem to feast your eyes on it. !
Luntai-----Korla: It should be evening when you arrive in Luntai. You can have a meal first, then take the train to Korla and stay in Korla. There are several hotels around the train station that are okay. Definitely not the type of small hotel!
Korla: The Grand Bazaar in Korla is not much to see. You can directly carpool to Bosten Lake and Luobu Village to visit. Two days is enough and the price is about 100 per person.
When you come back, ask the driver to take you to a pear-picking place. Of course, it must be during the season when fragrant pears are in season. If you can’t finish the pear picking, you can mail it back to your family!
Korla-----Turpan: Take the train. There are several scenic spots in Turpan that you can visit, such as Karez, Flame Mountain, Grape Valley, Jiaohe Ancient City, etc. It is recommended to charter a car for a day trip, 70 per person. I will go to several attractions. Don’t buy tickets for the Flame Mountain. It’s pointless to go in. The most beautiful place is in the back mountain! There are buses to Grape Valley, but you still have to walk several kilometers after buying a ticket!
Okay, the route of the main cities is like this. It will take about 20 days to visit. Of course, there are still some scenic spots that I have not visited. The main reason is that it is not in season or I am not interested, and I want to go somewhere else. You can study it again, this route is for reference only.
