Shrimp cake is a delicious food;
The main materials are raw shrimp meat, flour and so on. It was first popular in the south of the Yangtze River, and shrimp cake is the most famous traditional snack in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. In Changzhou, shrimp cakes are also called "copper drum cakes" because they are wrinkled like waist drums.
Shrimp cakes have a history of nearly 200 years. Yuan Mei, a litterateur in Qing Dynasty, wrote in "Suiyuan Food List": "Shrimp cake, raw shrimp meat, onion, salt, pepper, a little sweet wine, add water and flour, and sesame oil will burn thoroughly". Golden color, crisp outside and soft inside, fragrant and delicious.
