The 8:50 train arrived in Wuxi around 9:50. After leaving the train station, the Wuxi bus stop was right in front. I found the K1 bus sign and waited about 15 minutes to get on the bus.

We got on the bus at 10:10 and arrived at Chongshan Gate in Yuantouzhu at 10:50.

After buying the combined ticket, we went in and waited for the scenic bus. This bus took everyone to the cruise ship to Taihu Fairy Island. You can take a boat to Taihu Fairy Island with your ticket.

Yuantouzhu is a large city with many scenic spots, so you need to plan your route well.

I checked the attractions online and mainly decided to visit Taihu Fairy Island -> Periwinkle Qi -> Yuanzhu Chuntao -> Baoyu Wuyue -> Guangfu Temple -> Wanlangjuan Snow (Wanlang Bridge) -> Sino-Japanese Cherry Blossom Forest -

> Luding Yinghui -> Chongshan Hidden Beauty -> Ten Miles of Flower Path -> Depth of Couple Flowers -> Chongshan Gate. Including Wuyue, it is also the most famous scenic spot in Yuantouzhu, and it is indeed good.

Guangfu Temple, I said I don’t believe in Buddhism, and the temple is very small.

But it is sandwiched between several scenic spots, and you will definitely pass by Guangfo Temple, where you can have a bowl of vegetarian noodles, ranging from 8 yuan to 10 yuan, which is not bad.

There are very few people on the Wanlangjuanxue (Wanlang Bridge) side, so it’s quite pleasant to take a slow walk, and it feels good to sit on the bridge.

When you come down from Luding Mountain and walk towards the gate of Chongshan, you will pass by Chongshan Yinxiu -> Ten Miles of Flower Path -> Deep in the Couple of Flowers.

I conclude that you can pay attention to these scenic spots: Taihu Fairy Island -> Periwinkle Qi -> Yuanzhu Chuntao -> Baoyu Wuyue -> Wanlangjuanxue (Wanlang Bridge) -> Sino-Japanese Cherry Blossom Forest -> Luding Yinghui

Three notes: 1. The road signs for some scenic spots in Yuantouzhu are not careful and unclear. The first few scenic spots are okay, but the latter few scenic spots are Sino-Japanese Cherry Blossom Forest -> Luding Yinghui -> Chongshan Yinxiu -> Ten Miles of Flower Trail -

2. Let’s eat vegetarian noodles next to Guangfo Temple for lunch. It’s more affordable than eating on Taihu Fairy Island, so it’s not bad.

Of course, if you are still hungry on Taihu Fairy Island at noon, there is nothing you can do.

3. Personally, I think Taihu Fairy Island is just for seeing Yuantouzhu from a distance. It’s not that great in itself, so don’t stay too long.

From arriving at Yuantouzhu at 10:50 to finishing the tour in Yuantouzhu at 3:20 pm, it took 4.5 hours. I didn’t take the sightseeing bus and walked all the way.

Take K1 at Chongshan Gate and you’ll get to Liyuan in 3 stops.

Entering Liyuan, I feel pretty good. It is indeed a waterside garden. The pavilions and strange rocks inside are very similar to Suzhou gardens.

But there is another big difference. It is right on the edge of Taihu Lake and you can enjoy the view of Taihu Lake, so it is called Waterside Garden.

When I was tired from walking in Yuantouzhu, it was quite nice to take a leisurely walk in Liyuan and then look at the scenery of the waterside gardens.

You can also enjoy the scenery of Taihu Lake on the edge of the garden. Walking on the Ten Mile Corridor, there is Taihu Lake next to it.

I took a leisurely walk in Liyuan for 2 hours. It was already 5:30 when I came out. Then I took a bus to Victory Gate, one stop before the train station, where the Qingshi Road Food Street is.
