2. Secondly, the lamp cake. It is said that during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, there were two brothers named Chen in Wenzhou. They made and sold a light-shaped snack in Doumentou Daoguan in the east gate. It looks like a lamp, and it was famous for a while, so it was called "Dengzhanbing".
3. The third kind is Long Ren wonton. 1930 or so, Chen Libiao, a native of Yueqing, deals in wonton and pays attention to quality. The skin of wonton is very thin, the stuffing is fresh, there is proper alkali, and the covering material is exquisite. There are laver, shredded eggs, shrimp skin soaked in wine and so on. The cooked wonton is clear as a flower, delicious and refreshing. Chen Libiao is called because he is very tall.
4. The fourth kind is the short muffin, a famous specialty in Wenzhou, which is named after the founder Gu Jinfang's short stature. This kind of cake is made of pure glutinous rice, ground into fine powder with water, mixed with diced pork buttocks that have been marinated for several days, mixed with the above osmanthus and white sugar, cooked, put on a plate and cut into cubes.
Wenzhou has a long history, and there are many kinds of special foods. Others, such as lard cake, double sesame cake, nanxi river wheat cake, fish balls, beef offal, Qingming cake, duck tongue, pig dirty powder and glutinous rice, also have local characteristics.
