Tantou Town is located in the east of Tiantai County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, 12 kilometers away from Tiantai County. It is an important industrial town and a strong foreign trade town in the east of Tiantai.

Tantou Town is connected to Yongxi Township in the east, Sanhe Town in the south, Chicheng Subdistrict Office in the west, and Shiliang Town in the north.

The area under the jurisdiction of Tantou Town is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with the valley plain area in the middle. Cangshan Daoxiang River and Huanao River merge into Shishan Mountain and flow into Shifeng River.
