How to cook dried daylily well

dried day lily is a dried day lily which is slightly blanched and then dried or baked. Such a simple production process solves the problem that day lily is difficult to store for a long time.

There are many delicious ways to cook dried daylily, and it is often seen in large pot stews and sticky soup. Cold day lily and fried meat slices with day lily are also very popular.

What I shared with my friends today is a simple and delicious method of dried daylily.

1. Select a proper amount of dried daylily in advance, soak it in warm water for about half an hour, then take it out and drain it, remove the hard peduncle, blanch it in boiling water for about two minutes, directly put it in cold water and wash it for two or three times, then take it out, squeeze the daylily dry and shake it with both hands, cut it into sections with a knife, and put it into a dish mixing basin for later use.

2. Beat 3-4 eggs into the dish mixing basin with day lily, add appropriate amount of flour, add appropriate amount of chopped green onion, shredded ginger, salt, pepper and a small amount of chicken powder, and stir with chopsticks to make a paste (if it is dry, add a little cold boiled water).

3. Fire in the pan. When the pan is hot, pour a proper amount of cooking oil into the pan. When the oil temperature rises to 5% to 6%, pour the day lily egg paste into the pan, spread it into a thin and uniform cake, and then turn it over with a flat spatula to finalize the shape. After that, keep shaking the pan and turn it over repeatedly until the day lily egg cake matures and turns golden yellow, then turn off the heat and take it out of the pan.

The day lily omelet made by this method tastes very fresh and delicious, and the thick egg fragrance is accompanied by the crispness of day lily, which makes you memorable.

It is worth noting that daylily contains a certain amount of colchicine, which is oxidized and transformed into colchicine after entering the human body. Colchicine is toxic, which can damage the gastrointestinal and urinary systems. Therefore, before eating, it must be blanched and washed several times to be safe and secure.

I hope my answer will help my friends.

thank you!
