The origin of the name of Nanyuan ancient village
According to Pan Shi's genealogy, this ancient village is located in the east of Heyuan County, and its Long Mai originated from Jieya Mountain, and then circled from west to south, with great momentum. Starting from the right corner, the main vein turns eastward to Keshuling, and the Panshi ancestral hall is built on the right side of the ridge. The hall is straight, facing the water, and the river passes through it, surrounded by mountains on three sides. If this is a fairyland, it is called Tang Xian. Before liberation, the ancient villages in 1950 and 65438+ 10 belonged to Tang Xian Township. 1970, Tang Xian township was changed to people's commune. This ancient village belongs to a natural village under the jurisdiction of Tang Xian People's Commune. It is called Hong Guang Village because it wants to be bathed in the brilliance of the red sun. Because the whole ancient village is Pan's settlement, it is also called Panjiawei. Later, there was a century-old orchard in the south of Dongjiang River, which was called Nanyuan Ancient Village for the needs of tourism development.
