Qingzu Town belongs to Puyang County, Puyang City, Henan Province. It is located in the south of Puyang County, adjacent to Bagongqiao Town and Langzhong Township in the east, Haitong Township in the south, Zhao Ying Township in hua county, Anyang City in the west and Zi 'an Town in the north, with an administrative area of 73.36 square kilometers.

Qingzu Town is located in the Quaternary buffer plain in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, with a flat terrain and a slight inclination from west to east, with a ground elevation of 48.3 meters.

On May 26th, 2020, Qingzu Town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020. On June 20, 2020, Qingzu Town was named the first batch of "beautiful towns" in Henan Province.
