Miaoertan Town, Longshan County Miaoertan Town is located in the south of Longshan County, Xiangxi Prefecture. Its representative attraction is the national 3A-level scenic spot Jabala. Jabala has a long history. In April 1988, cultural relics such as carved pottery fragments, pattern wheels, net pendants, stone ornaments and other artifacts from the Shang and Zhou dynasties were unearthed at the Nakabi and Bazui Kao sites in the Laoche River.
In 2010, Neolithic cultural sites were discovered on the banks of the Laoche River. Cultural relics such as stone axes and pottery anti-wheels were unearthed, proving that human activities existed here as early as eight or nine thousand years ago.
