Dalian University of Technology is a very good engineering college.

The school focuses on engineering, with the coordinated development of six major disciplines: engineering, science, art, liberal arts, management, and economics. It is an institution of higher learning with the characteristics of cultivating professional talents in food, light industry, textiles, art, etc.

The school currently has three doctoral degree-granting first-level disciplines: Food Science and Engineering, Light Industry Technology and Engineering, and Textile Science and Engineering, two postdoctoral research stations in Food Science and Engineering, and Light Industry Technology and Engineering, and 14 master's degree-granting first-level disciplines.

The first batch of pilot majors for the comprehensive reform of undergraduate majors in local universities, and 3 majors have passed the engineering education certification of the Ministry of Education.
