in p>1935, the writer Major Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson founded National Allied Publications, which was the predecessor of DC Comics Company. Willer-Nicholson successively founded two comic publications: New Fun Comics and New Comics, which was later renamed Adventure Comics and published until 1983.

He put forward the policy of "brand new, all original" and started many new authors. Among the authors he recruited were two young people in their twenties, namely Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, and soon they created Superman.

Willer Nicholson is an adventurer and writer, but he is not good at management. In 1938, he went bankrupt and lost control of his own company. However, after the company was taken over by more experienced publishers such as Lebo Wiz, it developed rapidly and quickly occupied a leading position in this emerging industry.

The company released its third publication, which is also the origin of the name of DC in the future-Detective Comics (abbreviated as DC). This monthly comic book with a single concentrated theme has been a success. Soon the company launched another brand-new comic monthly, Action Comics, and its first issue brought Superman to the world.
