What’s the Internet celebrity food you can’t understand the most?

The hardest thing for me to understand is the Internet celebrity instant noodle canteen. It simply subverts my three views. Is our society so spiritually deficient that even instant noodles can become Internet celebrities?

The first time I saw this thing was on a certain small video software.

At that time, I felt that people nowadays are really boring. Instant noodles and an omelette can become a fashionable delicacy. So, as someone who eats all kinds of noodles all day long, am I not a gourmet expert?

I discussed this matter with my friends at the time, but no one thought they were interested in eating instant noodles out.

If you want to eat instant noodles, go to the supermarket and find that there are no flavors. Why spend more money to eat other people’s noodles?

We all discussed it as a joke, but we didn’t expect that not long after, three instant noodle restaurants opened in the county.

I thought I was ridiculous at the time, but it turned out that someone really did this.

Out of curiosity, I went inside to eat once.

I don’t think it’s anything special. It tastes similar to the instant noodles I cook at home, but the price is several times what I would pay for it. The cost is all in rent and labor.

I go out for a walk basically every night. When I pass by a small instant noodle restaurant, I always take a look inside.

In the first half month, business seemed okay.

Half a month later, the feeling can only be described as bleak.

For a normal restaurant, around seven o'clock should be the busy period, but I pass by it at this time every day, and there are only a few people eating there. Sometimes there is even the boss sitting boredly on his chair playing with his mobile phone.

In less than three months, this restaurant I often passed by has closed.

Later, when I went out for a stroll, I discovered that the three instant noodle restaurants in the county had all closed down one after another.

I still don’t understand the characteristics of this kind of Internet celebrity food, nor do I understand where the profit points are. Who is stupid in today’s society?

It’s not easy to make money.

Maybe Internet celebrity food has different adaptability in different regions. At least I already know that here, there seems to be no market for instant noodle restaurants.
