is from March to October, which is the time when ethnic festivals is the most abundant and the season when flowers are in full bloom. The average annual temperature in Kunming is 16 degrees, so the summer temperature will not be too high. The temperature difference between winter and summer is small, so it is said that "there is no cold and heat in the four seasons", and there is a saying in Kunming that "the four seasons are like spring". When the weather turns cloudy or there is light rain, there will be coolness in autumn, so there is a saying that "it will become autumn when it rains", so even if you travel to Kunming in summer, you need to bring a coat.
Accommodation in Kunming
The biggest feature of Kunming is that there are many chain hotels, a large number of them are online, and their prices are cheap. So when staying in Kunming, try to choose hotels near the railway station (from Beijing Road to Dongfeng Square), ranging from 7 to 15, and you can stay in good hotels. Beijing Road is the central axis of the main city of Kunming, connecting the north and the south, with convenient transportation, so it is convenient to catch the train.

The food in Kunming is mouth-watering. It is recommended to close the Wild Mushroom Street in the Middle Road and the food in the North Gate. Specially recommended: Jinma Bijifang
The symbol of Kunming is located in the city center, next to the East Temple Tower and the West Temple Tower. Zhu De often goes to the East Temple Tower
Kunming-flavored roads when studying, such as Culture Lane and jing xing Flower and Bird Market. Culture Lane can taste an international Kunming, while Jingxing Street.
Line 1: Xishan (including Longmen), Dianchi Lake, Daguanlou, Ethnic Villages and Nie Er's Tomb are all on the bank of Dianchi Lake.
Daguanlou has the "first couplet of ancient and modern" Daguanlou, where you can enjoy flowers and see Dianchi Lake well.
Ethnic villages gather in various ethnic villages in Yunnan, and you can see the elegance of all ethnic groups. There is the only person in the village who makes clothes out of bark, but a dress is expensive
It is the best choice to visit Dianchi Lake in Xishan.
The sunrise and sunset in Dianchi Lake are beautiful.
Dianchi Lake is seriously polluted now, but I hope it won't let you down.
key recommendation: Xishan, Daguanlou and Minzu Village
Line 2: Expo Park and Jindian
Expo 99 is an A1-level Expo, and it is also the first Expo held in a developing country, which is the pride of Kunming people. The site was reserved for the first time to become today's Expo Park, which is also called the back garden of Kunming. There are eight Guinness records in the park, which cover international and domestic garden products and you can feel the sea of flowers. Of course, due to the large amount of money needed for renovation, the park is not as grand as it was in those years.
Jindian is the largest pure copper casting hall in China, with Wu Sangui broadsword, which is adjacent to the Expo Park.
Highlights: Expo Park and Jindian (mainly for mountain climbing, with plenty of time to go)
Route 3: Cuihu, yunnan military academy, Yunnan University and the former site of The National SouthWest Associated University (all free)
Cuihu is a place where Kunming's urban aura is gathered. In winter, the red-billed gulls flying from Siberia gather in Dianchi Lake and Panlong River, and Cuihu Lake is also a big destination. Kunming was named "the hometown of red-billed gulls in China" and "the best bird-watching city in winter" because of the arrival of these elves.
yunnan military academy, Yunnan University and The National SouthWest Associated University are all around the Cuihu Lake. If you are familiar with modern history, these places are of great weight. Jiangwutang has trained two Yuan Shuai of New China, Zhu De and Ye Jianying. The National SouthWest Associated University is composed of Peking University, Tsinghua and Nankai in wartime, and has trained Yang Zhenning, Li Zhendao, Nobel Prize winner, two bombs and one star, and many celebrities in science, technology and humanities. As for Yunda, it's good to go for a walk in the ginkgo forest and feed the pine trees.
Line 4: Gold-medal scenic spots-Shilin, Jiuxiang and Alu Gudong
Shilin: National Geopark, 5A Scenic Spot and World Heritage Site, which must be visited in Kunming.
Jiuxiang and Alu Ancient Cave are both famous caves in Yunnan. Jiuxiang was developed later, Alu was discovered by Xu Xiake, and Alu Ancient Cave is called "the first cave in Yunnan". If you want to visit the cave in Yunnan, it is the best, 1 hour's drive from Shilin and about 2 hours from Kunming. There are long-distance buses going back and forth every day.
Key recommendations: Shilin and Alu Ancient Cave
Kunming Travel Guide and Cost
1. Direct flights to Lijiang, where you can go are:
Long-distance routes: Shangri-La on the 2nd (cost about 4-5 yuan), Shangri-La Meili on the 4th (cost about 8-9 yuan) and Shangri-La Rainstorm on the 6th (not recommended, it is risky and suitable for people who like to explore). The Shangri-La line can only charter a car for self-help, otherwise it will follow the tour group. Now the tour group is written as a pure tour group, but the price is much worse. Always remember the theorem that wool is on sheep, and ask clearly before going.
Short-term (one point in half a day): Black Dragon Pool, Yulong Snow Mountain (you must see it in good weather), Mufu, Shuhe, Wangulou and Lashihai (the Shangri-La line includes Lashihai, which is mainly to experience horse riding on the ancient tea-horse road)
2. Lijiang-Dali on the 2nd
3. Dali-Kunming on the 2nd, and went to Kunming. If you are really rich in time, you can go to Dianchi Lake, Nie Er Tomb, Ethnic Village, World Expo Park, Jiuxiang and so on.
4. Kunming-Xishuangbanna 2nd
5. Xishuangbanna-Nanjing
Accommodation:
1. The Bigfoot International Youth Hostel we stayed in Kunming has the following advantages: quiet in the middle of the city, cheap, clean, sanitary, high and low bunks and sufficient hot water for 24 hours, which is very suitable for travelers. Don't go if you have money.
2. In Lijiang, we live in Naxi Clean Land. The advantages are: surfing the Internet, renting bicycles, renting oxygen cylinders, renting down jackets, making long-distance calls and washing clothes are free, and there is no need to pay a deposit when booking. The location is very quiet.
Gourmet:
1. Qiaoxiangyuan, a famous rice noodle shop in Kunming, makes everyone feel ordinary.
2. There are several delicious places in Lijiang, including the 18 gangs at 23-1 Xingren section of Wuyi Road in the ancient city, especially the grilled fish, which are delicious. It makes your mouth water when you think about it, but you can't eat spicy food. Yujie ribs shop in Xiangshan market, I think it's delicious and not spicy, but the locals say that locals don't like it, and it's all for tourists.
3. Don't go to restaurants with views in the ancient city (that is, open-air restaurants and restaurants near the water). They are super customers, and all the tea, tissues and bowls and chopsticks are charged, but the food is still poor.
4. Try to eat in the new town. Everything in the old town is more expensive than the new town, because the rent of its shops is very high. The new city is not far away, and it is a new city outside the ancient city. Remember to enter the city with the water and leave the city against the current, so you won't go wrong.
In the final analysis, the overall feeling is that there are no special foods in Yunnan, and all the delicious foods seem to have foreign tastes.
here's our' specific itinerary'. Because we only went to Kunming and Lijiang, the other situation is not very clear.
D1, on Saturday, we booked the Nanjing-Kunming air ticket a month ago. Time is the most appropriate time to spend money here. Our five flights plus the airport construction fee of 1 ***143 (now the air ticket has no fuel tax) is quite cheap, but the time is spent. Because we went back to Nanjing from Kunming via Chongqing and stopped in Wuhan, it took us a day to fly back to Nanjing. If you ask me, it's better to choose a moderate ratio of money to time. It's not my intention to save money like this, and it's not necessarily cost-effective.
D2, Sunday, Shilin
If you take the expressway to Shilin one day, it will take less than 2 hours one way, and you can almost visit all the places if you stay in the scenic spot for 2 hours, so after careful calculation, 6 hours is enough for the whole trip. Friends who are in a hurry can definitely continue to arrange follow-up programs, such as Jiuxiang. The entrance fee for Shilin is 14. Unfortunately, we were enrolled in another one-day tour, with a tour fee of 12/ person, including fare, tickets, lunch (the food was not bad) and foot bath for half an hour, but we went to three stores and spent a whole day. Prove again that time is money.
D3, Monday, Kunming-Lijiang
strolled around. I booked a trip to Meili and signed up for an outdoor tour. The tour fee was 7 yuan/person. I didn't enter the store. If I wanted to buy anything, I could tell the tour leader. I just forgot to tell him to buy yak meat, so I called him when I got back and asked him to mail me some (Lijiang is full of yak meat, who can believe it? I asked him to help me post what he usually eats on the road. I don't like it. It's super hard, just like a brick. Because of time, we can only choose either Shangri-La Line or Lugu Lake Line, otherwise we can't play well in either place. The reason why the proprietress recommended us to take Meili is that it is cold to see the snow-capped mountains, and Lugu Lake is repairing the expressway. Now it takes 7 hours to take Lugu Lake one way, and it only takes 2 hours after the road is repaired. Anyway, we have to have another one. So I listened to the boss's opinion.
to be honest, we regretted it after we really got on the thief boat. Because Meili Snow Mountain is a sacred mountain, it's really not easy to see. After we climbed it, it was snowing heavily, and we almost couldn't come back, let alone see the scenery. As a result, we spent time and money on a trip to Meili, took risks and saw nothing. As the saying goes, high risk and high return. It's true. If you are lucky enough to see Meili Snow Mountain, you don't have to see Yulong. It's really a big gap. However, I don't think our trip to Meili is totally without goods. First of all, we can get preferential tickets with the tour leader, and our tour leader is very cute and tells us many stories, which are vivid and interesting. I also made such a friend of him, and there will be someone in Yunnan in the future!
D4 to D7, Tuesday to Friday, Merry four days
the first day: Lijiang-the first bay of the Yangtze River-passing the Tiger Leaping Gorge-Walking the Tiger Leaping Gorge-Yi people's cottage-Xiaozhongdian Ranch-Shangri-La
The second day: Shangri-La-Songzanlin Temple and East Chikurinji choose one-overlooking Napahai/ Yila grassland (if it's Shangri-La, that's enough for two days)-Benzilan-Moon Bay on Jinsha River-East Chikurinji-Baima Snow Mountain Pass-Deqin County-Feilai Temple on Meili Snow Mountain Observation Platform
Day 3: Feilai Temple-Rizhao Jinshan-Mingyong Glacier-Baima Snow Mountain Pass-Benzilan
Day 4: Benzilan Town-Shangri-La County-Lazilan But you can come out from the gate. After coming out, there is a super-large Yunnan-Myanmar jade city. I can only tell you that all the jade in it is A goods, and there will be no fakes. But if the price is high, I suggest you don't buy expensive ones. You can still buy cheap ones. After all, there are many complete goods there.
