Fenghuang Ancient City Food
Yiwosi, also called Pansi Cake, is a specialty snack in Ningwu County. It has a long history and was once a dessert for high-end banquets. Yiwosi is prized for its crispness, crunchiness and aroma. It has the characteristics of light yellow color, sweet taste and crispy texture. It is sweet and delicious when eaten fresh, and crisp and fragrant when eaten dry. Its shape is like a curled dragon waiting to rise. It lifts a thread, puts down a nest of silk, and moves it, scattering it into a pile.
Ningwu people love bean noodles, which are good for digestion and harmonize the spleen and stomach. Bean noodles are rich in vitamins and fatty acids and have extremely high nutritional value. After work, I love to eat a pot of bean noodles. I don’t have too much greed or too much extravagance, but I can be satisfied in the ordinary.
