Share a Sichuan delicacy, crispy on the outside and waxy on the inside, sweet and fragrant, a delicious and satisfying parenting food

Hello everyone, this is Dad Yang’s parenting experience. The theme introduces simple parenting, complementary foods and parenting knowledge, just to share what is better for the children.

——This delicacy is suitable for children over 3 years old.

In our daily lives, I believe that no matter where we are, there will be delicious food representing our hometown.

Although the author doesn't like to wander around, in order to expose my children to more new things, I will also make an appointment with my family to go out for a stroll, travel, and see the world.

It tastes crispy on the outside and waxy on the inside, sweet and fragrant. Even the daughter-in-law at home likes it.

In addition, its preparation is very simple. If you have a little yearning for this delicacy, you only need to remember the following steps to cook it at home.

Food name: Sichuan sugar-oiled fruit.

Prepare raw materials: 150g glutinous rice flour, 40g rice flour, 30g brown sugar, 8g white sesame seeds.

Step 1: First, we prepare a slightly larger bowl, pour the prepared glutinous rice flour and rice flour into it, stir it a few times with chopsticks, then add 50-degree hot water in small amounts, and stir it into a flocculent form.

Then knead it into glutinous rice balls.

Step 2: Then follow the operation in the picture below, divide into small portions of about 25 grams, and roll them into glutinous rice balls for later use.

Step 3: Prepare a little more oil in the pot, turn the heat to low, put the prepared glutinous rice balls into the oil pot one by one, fry until the skin is golden brown and slightly charred, remove and control the oil.

Step 4: Leave oil at the bottom of the pot, pour the prepared brown sugar into the pot, turn on low heat and slowly simmer until it becomes the same syrup color as the picture below.

Step 5: Then pour the fried meatballs into the pot, stir-fry over medium heat for about a minute and a half, sprinkle in the prepared sesame seeds, stir-fry again for 30 seconds, and then you can taste it.

Regarding how to eat it, we can follow the traditional way of eating local Sichuan snacks and use barbecue skewers to skewer the meatballs. This way they taste a bit like candied haws. Doesn’t it feel very good?
