Where is Suzhou Food Street?

Fenghuang Street is a street in the eastern part of Suzhou City and is now a famous food street.

The south entrance of Fenghuang Street is connected to Daichengqiao and Shiquan Street, and the north entrance is connected to Fuqiao and Ganjiang Road. It is the first longitudinal main road from the south to the east of the city, with a total length of 1,065 meters. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was first called Kongshengfang Lane. In the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi visited the south and changed its name to Phoenix Street because of the "golden bird vs. phoenix". The Millennium Phoenix Street is full of charming traditional cultural atmosphere, with places of interest such as Master of the Nets Garden, Twin Towers, Dinghui Temple, and Longevity Palace dotted along both sides. The whitewashed walls, dark tiles, cornices and carved railings of Neighborhood No. 37 fully reflect the charm of Jiangnan.
