First, you create a new file with 8*8 pixels in PS

Import your picture, and press ctrl+t 1:1 to zoom to the appropriate size

Use the pen tool to dig out the product along the edge, and delete the white background

Make sure that the current file has no other layers except the dug product layer, and then save it as PNG format, which is transparent.
