Delicious Kaifeng sheep intestines

I know that many comrades don’t want to see me posting food pictures, and some even say it’s too inhumane. but. . . Recently, I have been busy traveling for work and speculating on coins (don’t ask me which coins I have speculated on), and I have no time to write an article properly.

Kaifeng Yangshuangchang, especially this one called Ximen Zheng, was recommended to me by a very close colleague of mine for a long time. He is also from Kaifeng. I happened to be on a business trip to Zhengzhou, so the two of us went there. I quickly drove to Kaifeng to taste it on Saturday.

It is said that Cantonese people eat everything. I know that many people don’t eat it, dare not eat it, and are not used to it, but I can really accept it and I still like it.

Go directly to popular science and pictures.

My colleagues and I had a drinking party last night. We arrived at this Ximen Zheng restaurant at 7:30 in the morning. There were already many customers eating, and there was even a small queue of two people. We all ordered a medium portion for 20 yuan. The soup was milky white and said to be made from fresh lamb bones. No salt was added. You had to add the salt yourself and put the chili pepper in. The soup had a strong aroma and was not too spicy. The intestines were very glutinous, and I didn’t think the taste was too overwhelming. I ate them all with gusto.

My colleagues also laughed at me for having such "heavy taste" and not looking like a Cantonese at all. . .

Along the way, there are mutton soup, beef soup, donkey meat soup, and sheep intestine soup. . . I actually ate them all. . .

Hahahaha?
