On August 5, 2017, the "Takeaway Delivery Service Specifications" was released in Beijing. This standard stipulates the service organization requirements, service personnel, service processes, abnormal situation handling, service quality control and continuous improvement of service quality for takeaway delivery.

Playing a role in promoting the healthy development of the food delivery industry, the "Takeaway Delivery Service Specifications" was jointly drafted by the Commercial Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Baidu Food Delivery and will be officially implemented on September 1, 2017.

Takeaway is a very broad term.

Everyone generally understands it as fast food delivery service, such as Chinese food with one meat and one vegetarian type, and Western style, such as McDonald's and KFC.

The demand for takeout has driven the rapid development of related catering industries. A survey conducted by the China Cuisine Association on "Eating Habits of People in the 60 Years of New China" showed that more than 40% of people said that they were unable to cook every day due to high work pressure, tight time and other reasons.

This phenomenon is extremely common in metropolitan areas.
