The shooting content of the hotel mainly includes the hotel lobby, guest rooms, restaurants, bars, banquet halls, conference rooms, business centers, gyms, swimming pools, hotel exteriors, etc.

The process of photographing a hotel: setting up the environment - tidying up - lighting - fill light - test shooting - real shooting.

Customers have their own understanding of photos and can tell whether the photographer's style is suitable for their hotel.

Photographers who shoot hotels need to take into account the style and artistic requirements of the hotel group.

When I shoot, I basically keep in line with the requirements of international hotel groups, which focus on concise images, centered framing and composition, and soft tonal contrast.

In terms of equipment, it used to be 4*5 landline reversal films, but now almost all are digital photos.

Commercial photographers generally have assistants, and hospitality projects also require assistants.

The photography assistant's job on my side is mainly responsible for the lighting arrangement. I will tell them the position and intensity of the lights I require.

Hotel photography is different from architectural photography.

The advantage of architectural photographers is their understanding of the building structure and grasp of the overall building, but hotel photography focuses on expressing the luxury of hotel facilities, the comfort of stay, and the feeling of service.

I like interior design and am willing to do some design work. Through my understanding of environmental design, I can better grasp the hotel's environmental style during shooting.

An environment is a lifestyle, and home environment photography is a display of personal lifestyle. The photographer should use light and photographic language to reflect the owner's taste.

Photographing a hotel is different from photographing a fashion home magazine, leaving more space for the photographer to create.

When photographing a restaurant, I look for the impression it gives me. Sometimes I select a corner or part of a scene to express the most representative style.

The placement of hotel items is relatively fixed and cannot be changed too much.

When shooting some fashionable homes, the scene and environment can be readjusted, and items and props can also be arranged for the beauty and composition of the picture.

Sometimes the requirements put forward by customers are quite conceptual, and there may be disagreements with the customers, but the differences are only in details. If we pay attention to communication, the overall feeling should be consistent.

Because when customers are looking for a photographer, they will analyze his work and choose you to recognize your style.

For example, for the same picture, I will take more pictures with different compositions so that the client can choose.

The biggest difficulty in shooting mostly comes from the on-site conditions. The required elements are incomplete and uncoordinated. These details will affect the overall picture effect.

If the decorations are not complete, it will take a long time to prepare the props, and the temporarily found props and decorations may not be suitable and will be highly patchwork.

Just like shooting clothing, it requires the cooperation of clothing models, stylists, makeup artists and professional clothing props.

The fill light of the environment is also very important. It needs to be simulated like natural light without leaving any trace.

The quality of photography work is an important condition for maintaining customers. No matter now or in the future, I hope to successfully complete every shooting job. If the work does not meet the customer's requirements, there may not be another chance.

As I understand it, environmental photography is also a subdivision of commercial photography, and it is the photographer's aesthetic ability that determines the quality of your photos.

Of course, you must have a certain amount of experience in environmental and interior design. High-quality photos are the result of years of artistic accumulation.
