Mubin Middle School, formerly known as Xingning Experimental School, was founded in August 1997. The school is located on Xingcheng Education Road and is now the No. 1 Primary School of Xingning City.

In 1997, the Xingning Municipal Government decided to build a new middle school in the city based on the city's educational development needs, with an estimated investment of 25.67 million yuan.

When trying to raise funds, Mr. Zeng Mubin, an overseas Chinese living in Indonesia, took the lead in donating 6 million yuan, so the school was named "Mubin Middle School" and was directly affiliated with the school.

Mubin Middle School is located in District No. 106, Dongfeng Section, Xingcheng. It faces the Teachers Village and the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation to the south across Education Road, is adjacent to the Municipal Sports Center to the north, is adjacent to Ningxin Chenjinggang Village to the east, and is adjacent to the Municipal Primary School to the west.

The foundation stone was laid on December 8, 1997, covering an area of ??80 acres. Construction started on October 1, 1998, and two teaching buildings and a science museum were built with a construction area of ??14,000 square meters.
