Saliva Legion is a group of Hangzhou singers with five members, namely Dong Lei, Shen Leijia, Wu Qiong, Song Ming, and Feng Fei.
The biggest feature of their works is that they are almost entirely composed of dialects unique to Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
Saliva Legion emerged at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. Their famous song was "Jianerfan" and they disbanded in 2004.
The Saliva Army *** took the initiative to create and created many works as "spoofs".
Among them, "Jian'er Rice" and "Hangzhou Good Place" are the most famous.
The latter can even check the lyrics on Qianqianjingting.
"Hangzhou is a good place with outstanding scenery and generous people. The fragrance of Longjing tea floats everywhere. The taste is unforgettable." "The boats in the West Lake are rocking and the fish are floating in the breeze. Everyone has a dream. Hangzhou is your paradise."
"Miss, Hangzhou is great. Living in Hangzhou is good for your skin," are particularly well-known sayings among Hangzhou people.
Because Saliva Army is a dialect singer group, its promotion is inevitably limited, especially because the Zhejiang dialect in the south is difficult to understand. People who have not been to Hangzhou can say that they cannot appreciate their works at all.
But for Hangzhou people who are out of town and those who have lived in Hangzhou for a period of time and can understand Hangzhou dialect, the humor and familiar local accent in the works of the Saliva Army always make people smile knowingly.
