An introduction to my hometown, Xuchang, is as follows: Xuchang, known as Xuzhou in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province. It is located in the center of Henan Province, bordering Zhengzhou to the north, Luoyang to the west, Kaifeng to the east, and Luohe and Pingdingshan to the south.
Xuchang City is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese culture and one of the core cities of the Central Plains urban agglomeration. It plays an important role in the history of China.
Xuchang Xuchang City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Henan Province, was called Xuzhou in ancient times, also known as Liancheng, Xudu, Weidu, and the ancient capital of Han and Wei Dynasties. The terrain is high in the northwest, low in the southeast, and slopes slowly from northwest to southeast.
The landform landscape is divided into east-west zones and can be divided into three categories: plains, mountains and hills according to the origin and morphological combination of landforms.
Knowledge expansion: Xuchang City belongs to the northern warm temperate monsoon climate zone, with abundant heat resources, abundant rainfall, sufficient sunshine, and a long frost-free period.
Because it has a continental monsoon climate, it is prone to droughts, floods, wind, hail and other meteorological disasters.
The general characteristics of the city's four-season climate are: spring is dry and windy and sandy, summer is hot and rainy, autumn is sunny and refreshing, and winter is cold with little rain and snow.
The annual average temperature over the years has been between 14.3°C and 14.6°C, with the highest temperature in Weidu District being 14.6°C (related to the urban effect).
The warmest year was 1961, with the annual average temperature ranging from 15.4℃ to 15.9℃.
