National Highway G318, commonly known as the Sichuan-Tibet Line, is the most classic route in people’s minds for hiking, cycling or even driving to Lhasa, Tibet.
The Sichuan-Tibet Line, as everyone knew before, was from Chengdu to Lhasa in Sichuan, but it was actually from Shanghai to Lhasa.
Now, the standard name of the G318 national highway is the "Shanghai-Nie Line". The starting point and end point are the People's Square in Huangpu District, Shanghai, and the China-Nepal Friendship Bridge at Zhangmu Port in Nyalam County, Shigatse City, Tibet.
The picture above is a map of Basu County in Qamdo City, Tibet Autonomous Region, which National Highway 318 passes through.
National Highway 318 in Figure 1 above passes through Jida Township in the box of Basu County. About 50 meters northwest of the Township Central Primary School, there is a restaurant called "Old Comrade Sichuan Restaurant" on the roadside.

Although this roadside restaurant is called "Old Comrade Sichuan Restaurant", the indoor and outdoor facilities and atmosphere do not have a military feel.
The kitchen is bright and the stove is bright, and diners are welcome to supervise.
In this restaurant, rice is NT$5 per person. Vegetarian dishes such as shredded green peppers and potatoes, spiced peanuts, and mixed cucumbers are as low as NT$20. The most expensive meat dishes, such as hot and sour hoof flowers, braised pig trotters, and braised pork intestines, are NT$78.
