Dear Jim: Guess what?

I am now in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province in southwestern China.

At the moment I am in a teahouse in downtown Chengdu with my friends.

We enjoyed Sichuan Opera while sipping tea, which was really great.

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

Sichuan is truly a treasure, with many places worth visiting.

Tomorrow we will take a bus to Wolong to see the famous giant pandas.

I like pandas very much, they are very cute.

Many tourists from all over the world come to see them every year.

We will stay in Wolong for two days and then go to Jiuzhaigou.

Jiuzhaigou Valley is famous for its beautiful scenery.

Some people say that it is the most beautiful place in the world.

By the way, I’m enjoying the famous Sichuan cuisine every day.

Most of the dishes were spicy, much spicier than what I usually eat, but I still enjoyed it.

I love Sichuan, and you must too.
