I will be back!
(Four)
4. Regret is relative to perfection, and it is also for the sake of being more complete.
1. On the first morning after arriving in Chengdu, I temporarily stored my luggage in the hotel, had a simple breakfast, and took Ying with me to take the subway to Chunxi Road, which is only one stop away.
It was nearly nine o'clock, and there were not many pedestrians on the fashionable and spacious streets.
We walked through the square and turned around several pedestrian streets lined with high-rise buildings. Ying already seemed a little impatient and asked many times: "What are you doing here? I don't like shopping!" I didn't answer Ying directly and took her to the middle of the street.
In front of a row of benches, I chose a chair and sat down.
The blue sky above our heads was exceptionally clear, and the fluttering white clouds kept us sometimes in the shade and sometimes exposed to the sun.
I looked around and saw some people sitting in twos and threes on the benches side by side. Most of them seemed to be tourists like me. Not far away, a cleaning lady was vigorously scrubbing the stains on the ground with water.
Ying once again tugged on my sleeve with her hand, "What on earth are we doing here?" I answered Ying seriously: "This is the most famous commercial pedestrian street in Chengdu." "Then what are we doing here? We are not the most famous.
Don't you like shopping?" Ying still looked confused.
"We are here to see beautiful women." I still answered seriously.
"What are you looking at?" Ying raised her voice and looked at me, seemingly not hearing my words clearly.
"Look at the beauties! Seeing beauties here is one of the tourist attractions in Chengdu. It is said that the beauties here... Ouch!" Before I could finish speaking, I already felt pain under my ribs, and Ying's fingers had already pinched a piece of flesh on my body.
And twist it hard, "Let you see!"... The Chunxi Road project ended in a hurry, so short that it left almost no impression. I only remember that it was a large-scale commercial pedestrian street, and I didn't have time to see it.
The bustling crowd did not have time to taste Taikoo Li's delicacies, nor did they see the colorful neon lights, nor did they see the legendary beauties that make people's hearts beat and their hearts beat.
As a city traveler, visiting its most representative commercial streets was originally a must-do for me. I always thought that this would allow me to quickly understand and get closer to the city.
What's more, Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street is said to be the third largest pedestrian street in the country (after Wangfujing in Beijing and Nanjing Road in Shanghai). This street is full of old shops, integrating tradition and fashion, not to mention the delicious food.
Almost all the traditional snacks in Chengdu are gathered here, and the best hot pot restaurants in Chengdu are also concentrated here. Just because of a humorless joke on my part, my fate with this place was ruined, so that I later went to Ying many times.
Ying suggested coming over for dinner, but Ying politely declined.
The beauties are not appreciated, and the trendy fashion stores, traditional time-honored brands, Chengdu’s most famous traditional food, and hot pot restaurants have all been ruined. Who asked you to take your wife to see the beauties (probably no one else), but okay
Speaking of Chunxi Road in Chengdu, I have been there too!
2. After something becomes a regret in your heart, when you get it unexpectedly again, the joy it brings should be greater than the original expectations for it.
For example, when I was at Heming Teahouse in People’s Park and unexpectedly discovered that there were authentic Zhong Shui Dumplings, Lai Tangyuan, and Bobo Chicken that I thought I had missed, I can imagine my satisfaction.
If we think about it carefully, our real life seems to be an alternation between regrets and perfections.
That day, I spent a lazy afternoon at Heming Tea House and wandered around the People's Park for an evening. When I came out, it was already dark, and I followed the strolling citizens along the narrow streets of the residential area.
Along the way, I observed the various small shops on the street, noisy small restaurants, fresh little flower shops, neat fruit stalls, and dazzling variety of grocery stores. I also visited a vegetable market and asked about the prices of vegetables I recognized and did not recognize.
, bought a lot of unknown pasta and a lot of fruits.
We were deliberately procrastinating because we wanted to see Tianfu Square, which is not far away. Although Ying and I drive by there almost every day, the night view there is what attracts us to come.
I have read many recommendations from tourists on the Internet and also seen many photos. Tianfu Square under the night, under the colorful lights, and the colorful fountains are so amazing and shocking to people's senses. Ying and I
They all feel that they must be there to experience its magnificence and atmosphere for themselves.
When we walked to Tianfu Square, it was just past seven o'clock. There were not many people in the square, but we could see groups of heavily armed security personnel patrolling the outer perimeter of the square.
Ying and I found a place with not many people, a relatively spacious place with a good view and sat down. We put our schoolbags and the fruits and food we just bought between us. We decided to wait and eat while waiting.
Stunning lights and fountains arrive.
