1. Regan Noodles: Regan Noodles in Wuhan, Daoxiao Noodles in Shanxi, Yifumian in Guangdong and Guangxi, Dandan Noodles in Sichuan and Zhajiang Noodles in the north are also known as the five famous noodles in China, which is one of the traditional snacks in Wuhan. It is said that in the early 193s, a man named Li Bao in Hankou sold bean jelly and noodle soup around Guandi Temple. One summer night, Li Bao still had a lot of noodles left to sell out. He was afraid of spoilage, so he cooked the noodles, fished them up and hung them on the chopping board. While packing, Li Bao accidentally spilled sesame oil from the oil pot on the noodles. At that time, he had a brainwave, simply mixing sesame oil into noodles, and then fan the noodles to cool. The next morning, Li Bao scalded the noodles mixed with sesame oil in boiling water, then drained the water and put them in a bowl. Then he added sesame sauce, Chili sauce, pickled mustard tuber, onion, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and balsamic vinegar to sell bean jelly, which suddenly made people rush to buy it. After eating noodles, someone asked Li Bao what noodles he was selling. He blurted out that it was "Regan Noodles". Since then, Li Bao has specially sold "Regan Noodles" and taught many apprentices. A few years later, an apprentice named Cai opened a Regan Noodles Pavilion in Man Chun Road, Hankou, with the name of "Cai Lin Ji", which gradually became a famous store in Regan Noodles.
2. Paste soup powder: Paste soup powder, a famous Wuhan snack, is a snack variety matched with fried dough sticks. Whoever sells paste soup powder must sell fried dough sticks. Known as "a must in Wuhan", fresh fish paste soup and fried dough sticks are a classic Chinese flavor. It is the mutton bread in soup of Wuhan people, and its traditional significance and historical connotation are not inferior to mutton bread in soup. 3. steamed dumplings: Shunxiangju at the intersection of Hualou Street and Jiaotong Road in Hankou is an old shop with a history of nearly 5 years.
