Hongjiang Ancient City is located in the west of Hunan Province, the central province of China, and the south of Huaihua City. Lijin Bureau, also known as Lijin Tax, is a tax levied by the Qing government on goods passing through domestic land and water arteries. Lijin Bureau was founded in the fifth year of Xianfeng (1855). It is a barrel-type building with single entrance and three bays, covering an area of about 330 square meters and a building area of 620 square meters. It is a tax agency established by the Qing government in Hongjiang.
