Can you still taste the original taste now?
Childhood is a beautiful and carefree time. As a child, I feel very happy when I can taste the food I like.
What’s the most memorable meal you’ve had growing up?
Can you still taste the original taste now?
The taste of some things has changed because the technical processing methods have improved.
And some things don't taste as good as what I ate when I was a kid. It's because the quality has changed and they don't taste as good as what I ate when I was a kid.
Maybe a lot of things are the best at the beginning.
1. Candied haws.
When I was a child, there were very few snacks, so my mother would buy candied haws for everyone. The candied haws that can be eaten in one bite are very sweet.
As soon as I heard the vendor selling candied haws in the alley, I would run out and carefully pick up a candied haws that I thought was both beautiful and delicious. I was very happy and slowly peeled off the sugar coating of the candied haws.
When the fruit is held in the mouth, it is crisp and sweet, and has a crunching sound.
Nowadays, although there are candied haws sold in the streets and alleys, the taste of my childhood is gone.
2. Sesame balls.
Every time my mother goes to my grandma’s house, my grandma will ask my parents to bring us a bag of delicious food. Among them will be my favorite sesame balls. The sesame balls are made of glutinous rice and dipped in it.
Topped with white sugar, the bite is crispy and very delicious.
Every time when my mother goes to grandma's house, we will stare outside the door, hoping that her mother will come back soon and then eat delicious sesame balls. Sometimes, my mother will also go to the market to buy some sesame balls for us, but always
The most delicious flavor is my grandma’s sesame balls.
3. Fried shrimp crackers.
I never ate lobster when I was a child, but my parents would go to the market to buy shrimp crackers for everyone. The shrimp crackers are colorful and very beautiful. Although they are called shrimp crackers, I feel that there are no shrimps at all, just one kind.
The smell of shrimp.
As soon as the shrimp crackers I bought were fried in a hot oil pan, they immediately enlarged in size. My mother took the shrimp crackers onto the plate, and everyone couldn't wait to put them in their mouths, savoring the taste, and were very happy.
