Not all hyperthyroidism necks will thicken. Iodine-deficient hyperthyroidism, diffuse goiter, simple goiter, nodular goiter and thyroid tumor will all become thicker, and all of them are better treated except thyroid cancer. Diffuse toxic hyperthyroidism has obvious clinical symptoms in the early stage, and the neck is not thickened in the early stage, which is difficult to treat.
