Which is better, vegetable oil or lard?
Lard is animal oil, soybean oil and vegetable oil are vegetable oil. Animal oil and vegetable oil are mainly fatty acids, but the former are mostly saturated fatty acids and the latter are mostly unsaturated fatty acids (except coconut oil and palm oil in vegetable oil). There are some differences between the two oils in performance and different ages in nutrition. As a kind of animal fat, lard is high in saturated fatty acids and cholesterol, which is an unfavorable factor for cardiovascular diseases. Older friends should eat less. But cholesterol is the basic raw material of growth hormone and other substances, which is beneficial to children at the developmental stage.
