Method
1. Pick the rotten and insect-infested longans and wash them with clean water.
2. Then boil a large pot of water. When the water is hot, put the longan down and soak it for about 2 minutes, then remove it and drain the water.
3. Grow longan on the balcony to expose it to the sun. But you need to turn the longan frequently. This way it dries evenly.
4. If you have a large balcony, you can put it on the ground to dry. No need to be afraid of getting dirty.
5. When it is 80% dry in the sun, the skin of longan will crack. Then peel off the skin and core of the longan.
6. Put the longan meat into the iron plate and continue to dry in the sun until it is dry.
Dried longan, also known as dried longan, is a nutritional tonic popular among consumers and has a large consumer market throughout our country. The moisture in longan fruit is an indispensable condition for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. In the absence of moisture, microorganisms cannot grow and reproduce. Longan fruit contains 50-70% water and various nutrients, such as sugar, protein, vitamins, etc., which is a natural high-quality culture medium for microorganisms. The roasting of dried longan uses heat to reduce the moisture in the fruit to a certain limit, thereby increasing the concentration of soluble substances to a level that is difficult for microorganisms to utilize. Since the moisture content of dried longan is reduced by heat, the enzyme activity is also inhibited, so it can be stored for a longer period of time.
