In order to protect the fish resources and water ecological environment of Baihe River, Nanyang Baihe Wetland Park Management Office launched a special rectification campaign to "severely crack down on illegal fishing", so Nanyang Baihe River is not allowed to fish.

Baihe, known as Qingshui and Ganshui in ancient times, is the mother river of Nanyang City. Originated in Gonglishan, Songxian County, Henan Province, it flows through Songxian County, nanzhao county County, Fangcheng County, Nanyang County and Xinye County, and enters Xiangyang, Hubei Province in Quwan. After the two estuaries meet the Tanghe River, it is named Tangbai River, which flows southward into Zhangjiawan, with a total length of 264 kilometers and a drainage area of 18.
