Osmanthus fragrans is a famous wine in the south of the Yangtze River. It is brewed by Changshu Wang Si Restaurant according to the local sugar liquor (Changshu traditional old liquor) through technological reform. Osmanthus fragrans wine is brewed with spring water from the "hollow pool" of Xiaofu Temple in Qiliang Ancient Temple. Spring water is bitter and sweet, rich in minerals, high in alcohol content and strong in expansion. The wine brewed with this water is particularly mellow. The Millennium-old "Tang Gui" in the temple was added to the wine, and the osmanthus wine was amber in color, mellow in quality, with osmanthus fragrance at the top, which was quite distinctive.
Its finished product is yellow-green, fresh and mellow, sweet and clean, with pure natural osmanthus fragrance, which makes people feel moved at first taste, pleasant at second taste and fascinated at third taste, and becomes a famous local Tibetan wine in Guilin.
Brewing has a long history. There are three brands: Guilin brand, WISCO brand and Hui Gui wine. Guilin brand osmanthus wine is produced by Guilin Beer General Factory, which belongs to sweet low-alcohol dew wine made of flowers and fruits. Using local osmanthus fragrans and Vitis amurensis as raw materials, it is made by soaking, distilling, mixing wine, aging and filtering. The alcohol content is 15 ~ 20. Pale yellow in color, with outstanding osmanthus fragrance, it has the unique mellow taste of wild grapes, sweet and sour, mellow and soft, and has a long aftertaste. Regular drinking can strengthen the spleen and stomach, help digestion, promote blood circulation and benefit qi. 1984 and 1989 were respectively rated as high-quality wine and high-quality food in Guangxi. Wugang brand osmanthus wine is produced by Guilin Lingui osmanthus winery. Using high-quality rice and fresh osmanthus as raw materials, it is brewed by double steaming. The wine is clear and transparent, and the taste is mellow and refreshing. It not only has the characteristics of Sanhua wine, but also has the fragrance of osmanthus, with a long aftertaste and an alcohol content of 38 and 50.

Osmanthus fragrans aged wine is a good wine made by selecting the budding flowers, fermenting and sealing for three years in August when Osmanthus fragrans is in full bloom. Most of the raw materials are rice and other grains. Comrade Mao Zedong famously said in "Die in Hua Lian": "WU GANG holds osmanthus wine". Osmanthus fragrans is a famous wine in the Heavenly Palace. There is no record of osmanthus wine in books before the Qing Dynasty. In the early Qing Dynasty, Pan Rongbi wrote Ji Sheng when Emperor Luo was thirty. The book records the allusions to the preparation of osmanthus aged wine.
