The Story of the Music of Guangling San
Guangling San is a narrative song, which was heard by Ji Kang today. Ji Kang, the composer, expressed his concern for the country and his dissatisfaction with the political situation by describing Nie Zheng, the son of a sword-casting craftsman in the Warring States Period, as a tragic story of killing his father, stabbing Han Wang and then committing suicide. The music score of Guangling San was first seen in the Magic Secret Score (1425) compiled by Zhu Quan in the Ming Dynasty. There are sub-headings about "stabbing Korea", "rushing to the crown", "getting angry" and "reporting the sword" in the score. The whole score has forty-five passages, which refer to/kloc-separately. Positive voice is the main part of the music, which focuses on the emotional development process of Nie Zheng from resentment to indignation, and depicts his unyielding will to die rather than fear violence. The whole song always runs through the interweaving, ups and downs, development and changes of the two theme tones. One is the positive tone theme found in the second paragraph of the "positive tone", and the other is the chaotic tone theme that first appeared at the end of the grand sequence.

People generally know the literary talent of Ji Kang, the first of the "Seven Sages in the Bamboo Forest", but they don't know that his musical talent of being good at piano, melody and composition is really beyond his literary talent. However, such a wizard died tragically under Si Mazhao's butcher's knife, and played the piano with a grudge in Linxing, and a song "Guangling San" showed that Ji Kang would not give in to Si Mazhao's arrogance until his death.

Guangling San is an ancient song, which was first spread in Guangling area (Shouxian County, Anhui Province) in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, hence its name. I have loved music since I was a child, and I can do everything with stringed instruments and bamboo. Ji Kang, who is still playing the piano, loves this piece of music very much. He also processed and developed it according to his own understanding. There is a legend about how Ji Kang learned this ancient song:

On one occasion, Ji Kang went to visit Luoxi, and because it was getting late, he stayed at Huayang Pavilion. Late at night, while he was playing the piano, he suddenly broke into an uninvited guest who claimed to be an "ancient man". This person talked with him about temperament and played a song "Guangling San". Ji Kang was caught by the powerful melody of the music at once, and asked the guest to teach him. The guest promised to teach him, but on one condition, he swore not to pass it on to others, and he could not tell who taught him.

Although this story is not very credible, the person who can play Guangling San is a fact. Ji Kang has the most experience in playing this song, so he linked Guangling San with his name in history. As for the content of this piece of music, many pianists in later generations believe that it is related to the legend that Nie Zheng stabbed King Han.

Nie Zheng was a Korean in the Warring States Period. His father was killed by the King of Korea. Nie Zheng was still in his mother's womb when his father died. When he grew up, Nie Zheng knew his father's murder and was determined to avenge his father. He studied hard on Mount Tai and intentionally changed his face and voice. /kloc-after 0/0 years, he returned to Korea and played the piano not far from the palace. All the pedestrians stopped to listen. It is said that even the horses and cattle stopped. The news reached the ears of Han Wang, who called him into the palace to play. While Han Wang was immersed in the sound of the piano, Nie Zheng drew a dagger from the belly of the piano and stabbed Han Wang. Han Wang Zhongjian was killed, and Nie Zheng finally avenged his father's death. In order not to implicate her mother and sister, Nie Zheng ruined her face and died heroically. Comrade Guo Moruo's historical drama "Flowers of Tangdi" wrote this story.

The emotion expressed in Guangling San does have a lot in common with the emotion contained in this legend. The rebellious spirit in the music naturally caused Ji Kang's * * * sound in the smiling mountain forest, and he condensed all his hatred of Si Mazhao, who was notorious for his crimes, into the music. Si Mazhao wanted to use Ji Kang's talent and fame to serve himself. He repeatedly asked him to be an official, but Ji Kang scoffed and dismissed it. His good friend Shan Ju Yuan received a dear John letter from Ji Kang for persuading him to be an official. Si Mazhao naturally held a grudge against Ji Kang's refusal, and he wanted to add to the crime, so he could always find a solution, and Ji Kang finally went to prison with a grievance. In prison, Ji Kang wrote "Poems of Distressed Anger" as his last poem.

In 263 AD, an autumn morning, outside the East Gate of Luoyang, Ji Kang sat on the floor and adjusted his string peacefully. A few intense high notes suddenly cut through the dead air, and the piano sometimes suppressed resentment and sometimes became passionate and generous. All the 3000 students gathered on the execution ground shed tears and sighed. After playing a song, Ji Kang said with infinite emotion: "This Guangling San is going to be a masterpiece now ..."

"Guangling San" has been lost, but Ji Kang is not afraid of his death, and the story of playing the piano and telling his will is written in history and spread through the ages.

At the beginning, the music seemed to be thoughtful, waiting for scrutiny and identification, calm and abrupt, with melodious and clear timbre and no dust. However, with only a little hesitation, the timbre suddenly falls, and the emotions are pushed away layer by layer. Although the rhythm is still orderly, there is no hesitation when kneading the strings, and it is full of determination and embarrassment. In the middle of the music, the tone suddenly rises, and this phrase is quickly repeated, which seems to be used to emphasize the tone, as if a stone breaks through a thousand waves, a kind of awe-inspiring domineering, a bunch of clear arrogance, and suddenly comes out. The pause in the song seems to be a firm thought that has been twisted in the chest. With the advancement of the music, the sound of the piano becomes bleak and passionate, with an imposing manner. At the climax, the strings are plucked impenetrably, the rhythm is rapid, and the atmosphere is tense. There is a kind of unyielding spirit between the rhythmic oscillations, revealing a high-spirited and unyielding integrity. It's like the swiftness of a strong liquor after a full cup, like the sadness and determination of sprinkling wine in the first step to respect ghosts and gods. The changes in techniques such as hooking, picking, rubbing, beating and wiping are rubbed in the sound of the piano, which makes the music have a variety of changing rich timbre and ups and downs, which makes people dizzying and fascinating. Those sonorous notes seem to splash out from the strings, mixed with strength and passion, pouring into generate, pouring down thousands of miles, and there is a kind of firmness that hurts when thrown in the ear.

I can imagine Ji Kang's exuberance and immersion when he played Guangling San. The reason why Gao Shi is tall is his integrity. That kind of calm, full of ambition, throwing life and death behind him, facing the feelings of life, only a few strings can be pointed to relieve feelings. I can understand the words in Guangling San better than Ji Kang's own poem: "Ling Gao Yuan Xian. Pitch consultation. Blame him for being quiet. The room is far away. Although there is a good sound. Who and Qing Song? Although there is a shame. Who and Fahua. Yang Xun Gao Yun. Look down at the light waves. Take advantage of the current to escape. I hate the mountain. " It is said that Ji Kang had a rare guqin. For this guqin, he sold it to Dongyang's old business, and also asked Shang Shuling for a piece of river cruise peja jade, which was cut into thin pieces and embedded in the surface of the piano as a piano emblem. The piano bag is made of jade curtain towel sheet and shrink silk. This piano can be described as priceless. Once, his friend Shan Tao was drunk and tried to cut the piano, but Ji Kang threatened his life to save the piano from great disaster. It can be imagined that Ji Kang equated Qin with life. However, with Ji Kang's lofty, he will not be bound by things, but the piano also has a soul, and a good piano is also a bosom friend who cherishes life. This piano and Ji Kang * * * like * * * worry, sigh with the same song, and accompany each other. The piano and the fiddler know each other, and this blend of qi and blood can't be expressed by words. That's why Ji Kang called "Guangling San" when he was about to die, and the anger, lamentation and sadness during it made people move.

The special times created the artistic temperament at that time. I always thought that only in a specific environment can art be original. In a different time and place, I can only imagine, and I can only try my best to get close to it in order to reach the essence, but I can never reach the original appearance. Therefore, Ji Kang sighed after playing Guangling San on the execution ground: This song is "absolutely lost today", not referring to the lost score, but referring to playing this song, and it is hard to have anyone who shares this situation! The high wind can make the grass crazy, which is the highest achievement of Guangling San.
