World-famous fungi are mostly produced in Yunnan: matsutake mushroom, ganba mushroom, black tiger palm mushroom, morel, chicken fir, old man's head, Hericium, black truffle, boletus, green head mushroom, Chanterelles, aeruginosa. Yunnan's edible fungi species account for more than half of the world's edible fungi and two-thirds of China's edible fungi. Wild edible fungi are rich in proteins, amino acids, trace elements, vitamins and other substances.
