Baihao Yinzhen, founded in 1796, is one of the six famous teas in China. Its origin is in Fujian, and the main producing areas are Fuding, Zherong, Zhenghe, Songxi and Jianyang. Known as the top ten famous teas in China, it is known as the "beauty" and "tea king" in tea. Its appearance is straight as a needle, covered with white hair, like silver as snow, and the finished tea is about 3cm long.

Because the raw materials of fresh leaves are tea buds, the finished tea is shaped like a needle and white as silver, so it is named Baihao Yinzhen. 1990 was awarded the title of national famous tea twice at the second and third national famous tea appraisal meeting held in Xinyang, Henan. Bai Hao Silver Needle series products were also created, including new famous teas such as silver hook, silver monkey, silver ball and silver dragon.

Characteristics of white silver needle:

Ultra-white silver needle, the shape of the bud is full and plump, and the white hair is particularly dense. The whole body is silver-gray, very shiny, and the taste is more tender and lasting, and the aroma is outstanding at the moment of water injection.

Bud appearance is longer, white hair is slightly thinner, the overall color is silver gray, and the luster is average. Judging from the appearance index standards of the above two grades of silver needles, we can draw that the bud heads of the two grades of white silver needles are very different. Super-grade silver needles have fat buds, long first-grade silver needles, more obvious super-grade fragrance and lasting taste.
