Agkistrodon acutus, the scientific name of Agkistrodon acutus, is a poisonous monotype snake under the crotalinae of Agkistrodon acutus, a suborder of Agkistrodon acutus.
Habitat:
Agkistrodon acutus lives in mountainous or hilly areas with an altitude of100-1400 meters. Most of them live near valleys and streams of 300-800 meters, and occasionally enter mountain villages and houses, haunt kitchens and bedrooms, and are closely related to forests. In hot weather, Agkistrodon acutus enters the cool places under rocks, grass and tree roots beside valleys and streams to spend the summer, and overwinters in crevices and soil caves on sunny slopes in winter.
