Common soilless culture methods 1, substrate culture
The principle of substrate cultivation is to use some media to fix the roots of plants, and then use nutrient solution to supply the nutrients needed for plant growth. The perennial media include vermiculite, perlite, coconut chaff, peat, etc. During the planting process, we should pay attention to regularly disinfecting these media to prevent bacteria from breeding for too long and causing diseases.
2. Chemical synthetic substrate cultivation
In addition to natural media, chemical synthetic substrate cultivation technology can also be used for substrate cultivation. Urea-formaldehyde, polyurethane, phenolic aldehyde and so on can be used as substrate raw materials. When sterilizing the substrate, it can be put into a cabinet or box, sealed with steam through a vent pipe, and sealed at 70 ~ 90℃15 ~ 30 minutes.
3. Hydroponics
What are the common soilless cultivation methods of hydroponics? Hydroponics can be divided into dynamic hydroponics and static hydroponics. Static hydroponics is a relatively simple cultivation method, and plants can be raised in clear water. Dynamic hydroponics requires the use of pipes, cultivation tanks, nutrient solution pools and other items, which is highly automated and relatively simple.
4. Fog culture
Aerosol cultivation is a cultivation method which only appeared in recent years. The principle is that the nutrient solution is atomized in the cultivation bed, so that the roots of plants can fully absorb the sprayed nutrient solution to promote the normal growth and development of plants. Hanging plants in the cultivation bed can also prevent more nitrate from being produced, and plants have enough oxygen to absorb.
