Lizhuang is located on the south bank of the mighty Yangtze River in Yibin City, Sichuan Province. It is named after a natural stone pillar, commonly known as "Lizhuang". Lizhuang is a remote town with a population of only1.2000. The patchwork wooden attics, narrow alleys paved with bluestone slabs, high wooden thresholds, heavy wooden doors and well-preserved ancient temples have made it famous throughout the country and become a provincial-level historical and cultural town. Therefore, in China, there is also a saying that there is Zhouzhuang in the east and Lizhuang in the west.
Take the suburban shuttle bus from Yibin Nanmen Bus Station to Lizhuang (there is a shuttle bus at 6:25- 19:00 every day, and it runs every 12 minutes).
Specialty food: local specialties include burning noodles, stewed chicken noodles, etc. When tourists arrive in Lizhuang, they must not miss the delicious "Lizhuang White Meat", which is a famous food in Yibin, with good knife skills and excellent meat selection. There is also "Lizhuang Old Wine" which is also worth tasting.
