Protobothrops jerdonii is a reptile belonging to the genus Protoptera, commonly known as cauliflower welding head, cauliflower and dragon bamboo Julia.

The back of the cauliflower head is black and yellow, because each back scale has two different proportions of black and yellow colors; Yellow is close to grass yellow in some cases. Some are similar to cauliflower yellow, so they are called "cauliflower snake".

Living habits

The original spearhead of cauliflower is mostly found in the foothills, and sometimes it can be seen in the sun on the boulder in the grass. Generally speaking, if the weather is wet, you often go out to bask in the sun, and if the weather is dry, you hide in the cracks.
