The most classic way to eat avocado is raw.
Avocado is just like fruit. It is delicious when eaten without cooking. It can also retain all nutrients when eaten raw! However, avocado itself has a low sweetness and a slightly greasy texture, so most people rarely eat it on its own, and usually pair it with sauce or as a side dish.
Avocado goes well with salty and sweet sauces. For example, there is a special local way of eating it in Tainan: dipping it in soy sauce and eating it together! Even dipping it in garlic soy sauce, wasabi soy sauce, etc. is delicious.
Growing environment
The average precipitation in the origin of avocados is generally more than 1,200 mm, with obvious dry and wet seasons. However, the annual precipitation is generally more than 1,000 mm, and it is not a particularly dry area. Or in areas with evenly distributed rainy seasons, they can grow normally. The best precipitation is 1500-2000 mm.
High temperature and drought are extremely detrimental to the growth of avocados and can easily cause sunburn on branches and leaves. High temperatures during the flowering period can also cause flower and fruit drop. Avocado is a shallow-rooted tree species with fragile branches, so it has poor wind resistance, so it is best to choose a sheltered area.
