Zaozhuang College is a public full-time undergraduate college in Shandong Province, selected for the data China "100 schools project" program institutions.
The former Zaozhuang Teachers Training School was established in 1971, and Zaozhuang Teachers College was approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province in 1984, and approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2004 to be reconstructed into a full-time general undergraduate college, renamed Zaozhuang College.In 2017, the school became a provincial master's project construction unit.
As of November 2018, the school covers an area of 1,142 acres, with a school building area of 410,000 square meters, and a total fixed asset value of 960 million yuan; it has 23 faculties (departments), 57 general undergraduate majors, and 38 specialized majors; there are 852 full-time teachers, and more than 19,000 full-time general undergraduate and specialized students.
