Eriocheir sinensis can live for 5-7 days at room temperature, and it can be extended to about half a month by feeding food on time. To cultivate Eriocheir sinensis, first prepare a deep container, spread a layer of fine sand on the bottom, then plant a few aquatic plants, put the crabs in it, and pour in a proper amount of clear water, so that the amount of water just doesn't pass the crab's back. If tap water is used, it should be dried first.
life habit
Eriocheir sinensis likes to live in caves on mud banks or beaches of rivers and lakes, or hide in gravel and water grass. The instinct of river crabs is to dig holes, which is also an adaptive way for river crabs to defend against enemies.
In general, river crabs choose to dig holes on steep banks with hard soil, and the bank slope is1:0.2 or1:0.3, and rarely dig holes on gentle slopes below1:1.5-2.5, let alone on flat land. This provides a basis for the construction of our aquaculture pond.
