In 1997, SM Records drew up a strategy - to develop a big name that would represent Asia. star. Because in terms of the Korean situation, it was still more convenient to enter the overseas market on the girl's side, and it would take at least two or three years of training process to do so. However, the star of the future in Korea at that time was BoA*. She was only 11 years old, and at the time of the audition she was only in the 5th grade, but her singing and dancing proved that she already had the talent to be a star. The three or four songs she auditioned for were all S.E.S classics, and she danced to the most popular hip-hop steps of the time. The judges were impressed by her performance. Although Bao's parents were unanimously against her becoming a singer and only wanted her to concentrate on her studies, they had to bow under the record company's strong demands. So from the time she passed the audition, Bao'er began to receive specialized training.

The first requirement for world stardom was to learn a language, and Bao'er set out to specialize in English and Japanese. At the time, she hired a tutor and practiced diligently in order to master the foreign languages. She also stayed in Japan on vacation to study conversation, and after graduating from elementary school, she spent nearly six months in Japan for extended study, where she also learned to dance and sing, and met an NHK announcer, with whom she lived and practiced her conversation skills, and in the meantime mastered a lot of traditional Japanese culture. Today, she is able to communicate freely with foreigners in both Japanese and English. After she mastered linguistics, many art experts became her teachers in order to make Bao'er a perfect powerhouse singer. Bao's dance instructor was one of Japan's leading dancers, Sakumi Wakamatsu, who taught her the technical aspects of dance because she already had the basics of dance, but the only thing that was missing was the ability to integrate them. In addition, her debut album had the help of famous Korean composers such as Yoo Young-jin, Kim Hyung-seok, Kang Won-sang and Bang Si-wook. Without these 3 years of thorough preparation, it would not have been possible to be so brilliant today. Before her debut, BoA had a network of fans and they formed a fan club called "Jumping BoA" for BoA.

The title track of BoA's debut album, "Id: Peace B," is a dance-inspired remix of pop, drums, and bass, with a soft, melodic sound. The title track expresses the voice of the new generation that is creating a new world using the Internet, making it a great song to enjoy while chatting. The other two songs on the album, "You Can't" and "Come To Me", are classics that have captured the hearts of fans with their fast tempo and unique lyrics. You can hear that Bao'er is a singer who can adjust her vocals and emotions to the tunes just right, no less than her predecessors who have been on the scene for years.
