Growth environment and conditions of lotus root
Lotus root is common in areas with deep soil layers, such as ponds and rice fields. It is a light-loving plant, so it needs plenty of sunshine for maintenance and slightly acidic clayey soil for planting. It originated in India and is now planted all over China.
Growth conditions of lotus root
Lotus root is more suitable for maintenance in sunny places, and the soil used is deeper. It is recommended to use slightly acidic clayey soil, which needs to be watered and moisturized in time at ordinary times.
Lotus root growth temperature
For lotus root, the most suitable growth temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees, and the water temperature used is higher than 2 1 degree. If the temperature is low, it will affect the growth of seedlings.
Lotus root growth process
When lotus root is planted, its growth cycle needs to go through six stages, namely, germination stage, leaf unfolding stage, flowering stage, fruiting stage, long lotus root stage and dormancy stage. Generally, the germination period begins in the long summer, when the temperature reaches 20 degrees, the leaves will germinate, then slowly begin to blossom and bear fruit, and then enter the long lotus root and dormancy period.
