Personally, I find that boiled pork slices are served with a wide variety of side dishes including bean sprouts, bok choy, fungus, tofu, shiitake mushrooms, bean skins, vermicelli, bok choy, green peppers and potatoes. These side dishes are rich in flavor levels and nutritional tastes when paired with the sliced meat. Bean sprouts are crisp and refreshing, bok choy is green and tender, fungus is soft and tender, tofu is soft and tender, shiitake mushrooms are fragrant and aromatic, bean curd is chewy and tender, vermicelli is smooth and refreshing, cabbage is sweet and refreshing, bell peppers are refreshingly spicy, and potatoes are soft and tasty.
