I. Bacterial infection
1. Reason: When bacteria invade the plant roots in the living environment of agave in Phnom Penh, if these harmful bacteria are not killed in time, the plant roots will be destroyed in a large area and yellow leaves will be produced.
2. Solution: Remove the rotten parts of the plants, disinfect them with drugs, and then change the soil and pots for planting to avoid bacterial residues.
Second, there is not enough light.
1. Reason: Agave in Phnom Penh is a light crop. If plants grow in an environment lacking light for a long time, the leaves will turn yellow slowly.
2. Solution: Move the plants to a sunny place for maintenance, but pay attention to shading to prevent direct glare.
Third, there is too much watering.
1. Reason: If you water too much, the roots of plants will grow in stagnant water or too wet soil for a long time, which will make plants unable to breathe and lead to yellow leaves.
2. Solution: Stop watering immediately, drain the excess water in the soil, cut off the rotten roots, disinfect them first, and then replant them.
