In China, there are many kinds of snails that harm eggplant vegetables, and their habits, damage and control methods are very similar. Here, taking snail (Helixgraminum) as an example, the harm and control of snails are introduced. Snails belong to the family Snails of Gastropoda, mollusca, which are widely distributed. The main distinguishing features are as follows: the body length of the shaped snail is about 35 mm, the back is brown, there are reticular lines, the abdomen is smooth, the front part is light yellow-brown, the back part is light in color, and the abdominal muscles are developed, forming an abdominal foot. There are foot glands in the abdominal foot, which can secrete mucus and leave a white mucus trace in the crawling place. The shell is oval, with a longitudinal diameter of about 20 mm, yellowish brown and * * * divided into 5 layers. The threads of each layer rotate clockwise. The top of the shell is small and round, gradually expanding downward, and the bottom layer accounts for more than 2/3 of the whole shell. At the top and near the top, the two-layer shell surface is smooth, and the third layer surface has fine oblique longitudinal lines, which makes the shell shiny. The outer shell is formed by the secretion of the outer sheath, and a layer of outer sheath membrane is attached to the inner shell. Egg-shaped, with a diameter of1~1.5 mm, white at first, then light yellow, and finally khaki, with two light black dots. Eggs are mostly agglomerated into blocks, with 60 ~ 70 eggs each.
