Penguin is a general term for all Penguinidae species. Known as the "boat on the sea", the penguin is one of the oldest swimming birds. They probably settled in Antarctica before the earth put on ice armor.
Penguins can live and breed in cold climates. On land, it is like a western gentleman in a tuxedo, staggering, stumbling and flustered when in danger. But in the water, the penguin's short wings become a pair of powerful "paddles", and the swimming speed can reach 25-30 kilometers per hour. You can swim 160 km in one day.
Penguins feed on marine zooplankton, mainly Antarctic krill, and sometimes they prey on brachiopods, squid and small fish. Penguins have a good appetite. Each penguin can eat an average of 0.75 kg of food every day, mainly Antarctic krill.
